WHY FAITH OVER FEAR?

With the diagnosis of ALS, there is much to be afraid of:

  • When will I be in a wheel chair?

  • When will I need a respirator so I can breathe?

  • How is Cathy going to cope with this?

  • What will life be like for Hannah and Deagan when their Dad is gone?

Fear just drags you down and makes things worse than they already are.  So I have chosen to rely on my faith in God to get me through this.

"Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."  Joshua 1:9

The image on the home page is the name I put on my boat two summers ago "Faith OVER Fear".  It was meant for new water skiers who needed encouragement that they could do it!  Turns out it means a lot more to me now.
