WHY FAITH OVER FEAR?
With the diagnosis of ALS, there is much to be afraid of:
When will I be in a wheel chair?
When will I need a respirator so I can breathe?
How is Cathy going to cope with this?
What will life be like for Hannah and Deagan when their Dad is gone?
Fear just drags you down and makes things worse than they already are. So I have chosen to rely on my faith in God to get me through this.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

The image on the home page is the name I put on my boat two summers ago "Faith OVER Fear". It was meant for new water skiers who needed encouragement that they could do it! Turns out it means a lot more to me now.
